Made for Kitchens Where Groundnut Oil Doesn’t Sit Still
Some ingredients are used occasionally. Others become part of the rhythm of everyday cooking.
For households where groundnut oil moves regularly from sabzis to dals, curries to frying, everyday meals to traditional snacks, the 5L format means having more of a familiar cooking essential at hand.
The larger steel can changes the format — not what goes inside it.
It is the same Naimish Naturals Wood Pressed Groundnut Oil: made from carefully selected groundnuts, slowly extracted in traditional wooden ghanis, naturally mild in character, and produced without chemical refining, bleaching, deodorising or blending.
Naturally Mild. Remarkably Versatile.
Groundnut oil has a way of becoming part of the kitchen without demanding attention.
Its naturally mild, gently nutty character complements ingredients rather than overpowering them. That makes it equally at home in everyday sabzis, dals and curries as it is in rice preparations, sautéing, traditional snacks and frying.
For a household that cooks with groundnut oil regularly, that versatility is precisely what makes the 5L format make sense.
The Same Patient Craft, In a Larger Format
A larger pack doesn’t mean a different standard.
Our Groundnut Oil continues to be slowly extracted in traditional wooden ghanis rather than produced through intensive industrial refining. We don’t chemically refine it, bleach it to standardize its appearance, deodorize it to erase its natural character or blend it with cheaper oils.
Five liters simply means more of the same oil — made the same way.
Why You’ll Choose Our Wood Pressed Groundnut Oil
Mild Enough for Everyday. Distinctive Enough to Matter.
Some oils announce themselves. Groundnut oil works differently.
Its naturally mild, gently nutty character complements food without overwhelming it, making it remarkably versatile across everyday Indian cooking. From sabzis, dals and curries to poori, pakoras, stir-fries and traditional preparations, it lets the ingredients remain at the centre of the dish.
That versatility is precisely what has kept groundnut oil at home in Indian kitchens for generations.
Slowly Wood Pressed at ~14 RPM
How an oil is extracted matters just as much as the seed it comes from.
We slowly press selected groundnuts in small batches using a traditional wooden lakdi ghani operating at approximately 14 RPM. Instead of chasing maximum extraction speed or yield, we give the process the time it needs.
The result retains the natural aroma, flavor and characteristic identity of groundnuts.

Nothing Added to Make It Something Else
There is another way to understand our Groundnut Oil: by what we choose not to do to it.
We don’t refine it to make it unnaturally neutral, or bleach it to standardize its appearance, or deodorize it to strip away its natural aroma, or chemically process it to force uniformity. And we don’t blend it with cheaper oils.
Instead, we let groundnut remain groundnut.
Because the purpose of careful extraction isn’t to redesign an ingredient. It is to preserve its character.
Why Steel for 5 Litres?
Our smaller-format oils are packed in glass. At 5 litres, the requirements change.
A larger household format needs packaging that can accommodate the volume while remaining practical to handle and store. That is why we chose a steel can for our 5L Groundnut Oil.
Durable, reusable and suited to larger quantities of edible oil, steel gives the 5L format a permanent place in the kitchen rather than making it feel like disposable bulk packaging.
Because moving to a larger format shouldn’t mean moving away from thoughtful packaging.
Glass for our everyday bottles. Steel when the kitchen needs more.
Groundnut Oil Made for the Everyday Indian Kitchen
Five liters makes the most sense when an oil doesn’t have just one job. Groundnut oil’s naturally mild character allows it to move comfortably across everyday cooking. One of groundnut oil’s greatest strengths is that it doesn’t demand a particular cuisine.
Use it for:
- Everyday sabzis and vegetables
- Dals and curries
- Sautéing and stir-frying
- Pooris, pakoras and bhajiyas
- Traditional Indian snacks
- Rice preparations
- Chutneys and accompaniments
- South Indian cooking
- Everyday frying
- Recipes where you want the ingredients — rather than the oil — to dominate the flavor
Its mild profile makes it particularly useful when you want one versatile oil capable of moving comfortably across different styles of cooking.
Purity Should Be Verifiable
“Pure” is easy to print on a label.
We prefer giving you something more useful: information you can actually examine.
Through our Know Your Product (KYP) initiative, published production batches can carry traceable information about ingredient origin, production and laboratory testing.
Our published Groundnut Oil batch, for example, provides its batch identity, sourcing location and laboratory information rather than relying only on a generic purity claim.
Explore Know Your Product and see the information behind your bottle.
Because transparency shouldn’t begin after you buy.
It should help you decide before you buy.
